Accessibility
I want you to be able to find information and make contact in the way that works best for you.
Commitment
Debbie is committed to making this website welcoming & usable for as many people as possible. The site has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA in mind.
This version has received structural, keyboard-oriented & responsive code checks, but it has not yet had an independent accessibility audit. Debbie therefore does not claim full conformance at this stage.
What the site supports
- clear page titles, headings & content order;
- a skip link to move directly to the main content;
- keyboard access to navigation, links, forms & expandable questions;
- visible focus indicators;
- labels & instructions for form fields;
- layouts that adapt to small screens & enlarged text;
- colour contrast selected for readability;
- reduced animation when your device requests reduced motion; &
- plain-language status & error messages for the enquiry form.
Using the site
Keyboard navigation
Use Tab to move forward through interactive elements & Shift + Tab to move backwards. The mobile menu can be closed with Escape.
Zoom & text size
You should be able to zoom the page to at least 200% using your browser controls without losing essential information. The layout changes to a single column where needed.
Motion
If your device is set to reduce motion, page transitions & decorative movement are minimised.
Known limitations
The online enquiry form is temporarily unavailable. The direct email link opens your email application; the address is also shown in full so you can copy it.
Web fonts are loaded from an external font service. If they are unavailable, the site uses readable system fallbacks without blocking the content.
Feedback & alternative formats
If something is difficult to use, or if you need information in another format, please email Dschroettercounselling@hotmail.com. It is helpful if you include the page, device & browser involved, but you do not need to provide disability or medical information.
Debbie aims to reply within 1–2 working days & will use feedback to prioritise improvements.
Review process
This statement will be reviewed after the site is hosted, the final enquiry service is connected & a representative browser, keyboard & assistive-technology test has been completed.
